Seeing these two ladies pictured together i was hit by the natural elegance of the princess Victoria. Her dress is discreet with a classic black and white contrast. Her smile is sweet, the make up is basic and the hairdo is a ponytail. Next to her, Carla Bruni playing the role of the first lady dressed with a anonymous grey outfit and botoxed face. After the excesses of the past, for these institutional events i think she dress up to camouflage herself with the environment. These outfits have no character or elegance.They are all grey and hide her body, look at those trousers,too wide. The princess feels at her ease,does royalty make any difference?

Vintage find of the day: the 60s coat

Look at this true beauty i found today. It's a perfect coat of the sixties, unfortunate is an xs, i wish i could draw the pattern out of these images. Look at the cut at the bust, the heart shaped seam. The color is so acctractive, such a vibrant green color. Maybe this coat is made of wool, have a look at the fur cuffs and collar, they are hot this season, you can add them to a coat you already own, they add an elegant touch to a coat and make it suitable for an elegant night.

Natural studs: specimen rings

These rock rings are from Billy Bride. I really like them, they're colorful, they're made of natural stones and they have studs. They are made of rough pieces of crystals, we can see the original shape of them, they have spikes, they are perfect. The sad side is that they're price floats between $300 and $400, too expensive for me i'll have a look for natural stones next time i'll hit a antique market.
