Chain Shoes
Tove Jansson for Emanuelsson
I'm always seeking for the WOW effect and when it comes of shoes i'm addicted.
These shoes will make people say OMG look at girl's shoes!
I'm amazed by different shapes and decorations, the classic decoltè bored me a long time ago.
Today i found those lipstick stillettos and i found them funny. It's a way to play with accessories, a melt of make up and shoes two icon objects of a woman's life. Approved!
Then other strange heels follow, i'm attracted by the lighting orbs by Chanel, they have some steam punk fascination now that the light bulb is retired.
Would you wear these strange shoes?

MTV EMAS 2010 worst dressed celebrities

Ok, time to get bitchy! Yesterday night the mtv prize event Mtv european music awards took place in Madrid. Here's for you the red carpet. What do you think of these looks?
First we have Kesha and that's exactly the look we expect from her:trashy! Although she tried some kind of sophisticated trash? Slashed tee and silk blue trousers?
Then Tailor Monsen directly from Twilight sporting underwear and men shirt with a vampire kind of make up:fail.
Eva Longoria presented the show and changed her outfit many times with no fortune i'm afraid. On the red carpet we wore a too puffy top and pants-like shorts and later on a very cute blouse in cream all pleated and pants-like shorts! Poor Eva had no time to figure out what to wear at the bottom. What a pity. She could be so much cuter than this!

Lanvin for H&M unvealing the whole collection

Lanvin per H&M: tutte le immagini e i prezzi Part. 1
After talking and waiting for this collection here are the pieces we're going to buy hopefully at H&M the 23th. There are a lot of lovely pieces, if i could i would buy them all but the truth is that it will be hard to get one.
All these rules and selected stores thing is insane. If you haven't read them yet here they are:
  • first thing arrive early (will see if the queue will be overnight)
  • you have to be one of the lucky ones that catches a bracelet (there are 320 in total)
  • wait for your turn
  • then you have 15 minutes to shop the collection and you can buy one for each piece of the collection
if you don't catch the bracelet you'll have to wait the end of the 320 queue and then you can shop the remaining pieces.
If you can't reach one of the chosen h&m you can pay these dresses for double on ebay the day after.
Let me tell you this shopping session seems more a battle.
Maybe all these complicated rules are made for distracting us from realizing we're buying overpriced h&m dresses.
These capsule designers collections should be sold in every h&m, this won't make them less exclusive and wanted.

Lanvin at H&M: backstage of the lookbook

While we're waiting for the 23th of november, the launch of the Lanvin for H&M collection in selected stores have a look at this video made during the shooting of the lookbook:

A Vintage Lady Gaga

With Lady Gaga coming to italy next week i wanted to dedicate a fashion post to her. Here'a photo of gaga riding the streets of New York before becoming famous.

Rumor has it that this picture appeared on the Sartorialist years before Stefani Germanotta became the artist we now know as “Lady Gaga.” Apparently, She was in the Meatpacking district of NYC with Mama Gaga (her mother), and a photographer asked to take her photo. When he asked for her name she said, "Lady GaGa, singer/songwriter, you’ll be hearing of me in the future!" or something along those lines. The photographer -at the time- had to stop himself from laughing.

Now tell me, who is laughing?

Vintage find of the day: 60s coat

http://www.indiecultvintage.com/ebay/coats/Nov%201%202010/y.JPGhttp://www.indiecultvintage.com/ebay/coats/Nov%201%202010/y2.JPG
Ah ah, look what i found! Another beautiful 60s coat but if you have been reading me for a while you'll notice that i found the same exact coat a couple of weeks ago in green. I love vintage. It's surreal that 50 years later if you look well into the market you still have color choice of a coat style.
So if you missed the green one you can still have the beautiful mustard one
here
I'll tell you that this coat is available in red too! Incredible
Want to see the green one i found i while back? Have a look here
