Most of the clothes I see on the streets can be classified in a single category: casual. Today casual style goes beyond everyday wear, clothes like jeans are accepted also in formal events. We can affirm that comfortable casual clothes are preferred in almost any situation. Many times I desidered to wear a really elegant dress but the truth is there aren't many chances to do it. Why don't we create them? Stop shopping for prom dresses and cocktail dresses for ceremonies, why can't be an event you organized the special occasion to wear them?
I think that the holiday season is the perfect chance to invite your friends over for an elegant dinner.
You don't need to spend a lot of money, it only takes some time and creativity to organize the evening.
Plan the menu, choose the appropriate music and send invitation cards on facebook with the dress code of the evening. A theme party is a fun way get your friends actively involved! Last year I diy-ed bow ties for the boys and a strand of pearls for the girls, suddently the party was more stylish and they all liked their accessories.

Gli abiti che vediamo in città rientrano quasi tutti in una categoria, il casual. Oggi  casual non è più solo l'abbigliamento per il giorno, un capo come il jeans è accettato anche in contesti formali. Si può dire che, anche in nome della comodità, oggi lo stile casual sia adottato quasi in ogni occasione. Tante volte magari avremmo voluto scegliere un capo più ricercato ma la verità è non ci sono mai le occasioni per indossarli. Perchè allora non inventarle? Basta conservare gli abiti eleganti per le cerimonie, non può essere un evento organizzato da voi l'occasione speciale per indossarli?

 Il periodo delle festività natalizie è l'occasione perfetta per invitare gli amici a cena o per un aperitivo e la casa addobbata sarà il contesto perfetto per una serata elegante.

Non c'è bisogno di chissà quali costosi allestimenti basta un po' di creatività e di pianificazione. Scegliete il menu e la musica adatta e apparecchiate la tavola con cura. Preparate un biglietto d'invito da spedire su facebook agli amici e indicate il dress code della serata. Trovare il tema della festa è un modo divertente per coinvolgere attivamente gli invitati. Per una sera tutti eleganti, a questo punto non vi resta che scegliere l'abito da indossare.
