4 ways to get mirror nails and why you should choose the cheapest one

I loved these nails since I saw them on the runway. Lately I've seen more brands realized their version of mirror nail varnish and of course I had to try them! There are at least 4 ways to obtain the mirror nails effect. How much are you willing to pay to look like your nails were dipped in gold? Good news! The million dollar look you're after is cheaper than you may think!

Mirror effect nail polish.
Many brands produced their version of mirror nail polish (Maybelinne mirror magic - Stargazer - China Glaze Millennium - Zoya Trixie
Layla mirror magic to name a few).
To obtain a better effect polish your nails before applying the varnish and finish it with a top coat because these tend to chip easily.
I tried Pupa mirror nail polish and I was disappointed with the result. For me it doesn't look like a mirror at all.  If you're looking for a real mirror effect, I mean a reflective effect skip these.

Smalti mirror effect
Come vi ho accennato prima ci sono diversi smalti che promettono di poter ottenere un effetto specchiato (Pupa mirror effect - Zoya Trixie - Layla mirror magic per nominarne alcuni). Prima di applicarli l'unghia va lucidata e vanno poi protetti con un top coat perchè tendono a scheggiarsi facilmente. Se state cercando l'effetto riflettente però questi smalti non fanno al caso vostro.

For once the the best option is also the cheapest one! If you want real reflective nails go for fake nails! They will be thicker than real nails but you'll get a real mirror. Just glue them on and you're ready to go! Here's a quick easy way to get the high fashion look on a budget!

Le unghie finte! Anche se più spesse delle unghie vere sono le uniche ad assicurarvi l'effetto cromato e riflettente. Per una volta il risultato migliore è assicurato dall'opzione più economica. Non male!

 start applying one color on your nails and let it dry

stendete il primo colore e lasciatelo asciugare

apply the second color at the end of the nail and before it dries apply the top coat insisting with the brush at the point where one color changes in the other you'll see the 2 colors blending together

if you don't get it right the first time keep trying!

 applicate il secondo colore sulla punta dell'unghia e prima che si asciughi stendete il top coat. Ripassate più volte sulla linea di separazione tra i due colori e noterete i due colori mescolarsi.

Orange is one of the colors we're going to wear a lot during coming spring.
Why don't take inspiration from our wardrobe and add a touch of orange in our make up bag?
If at first it may sounds crazy but a few touches of orange are a fantastic way to create a bonne mine in a few seconds.
All you really need is just a bright orange eyeshadow you can use as all over.
After applying foundation use the eyeshadow with a big blush to warm up cheeks and eyes.
To keep the make up natural apply mascara with light hand.
Again using eyeshadow you can hightlight lips mixing the orange pownder with a gloss or a lip balm.
The last pic shows an example of how you can sport the look even if maybe model's skin is a little too pale for the color.
If you're not shy then skip the natural look and apply the eyeshadow on eyes with fingers on the mobile eyelid defining well the borders ,you'll obtain a pop contrasted look.

Dopo aver applicato il fondotinta, illuminate le guancie e gli occhi di arancione con un pennello grande.
Con tocchi leggeri applicate un sottile strato di mascara.
A questo punto utilizzate ancora l'ombretto per tingere le labbra mischiando un po' di polvere arancione con un gloss o il vostro balsamo per le labbra.
Nell'ultima foto potete vedere un esempio di come costruire questo look anche se in questo caso la modella ha una pelle molto chiara ed il risultato è più contrastato.
