There's no summer without flower prints. Don't worry if your clothes are not in full bloom,  you can stick some flowers on your summer staples just like Holly Fulton s/s collection suggests. She decorated plastic garments with flower stickers.

If you want to get this look there are a few options you can consider.

• Buy plastic tablecloths. They are sold by the yard. Plain clear plastic and those with printed flowers are both available. Use them  as a fabric for your Holly Fulton inspired garment. Plastic is not very comfortable, but you can use it successfully to make clothes that don't cling on the body (like a circle skirt for example) or you can make plastic inserts on your everyday clothes like a front panel on a cotton top. 

•  Make your stickers Print some images of flowers on adhesive paper, spray pray them with transparent paint to protect them from liquids and stick them wherever you like, on plastic garments or on accessories. Last year I made a plastic bag using printed flowers, you can read the instructions to make it here

• Make your fabric stickers aka your custom patches. Iron a sheet of heat and bond on the back of your floral fabric. Cut out the flowers, the fabric doesn't unthread now. Remove the protective film behind the adhesive sheet and iron your custom patches on your clothes wherever you like. No half measures: hot pink, electric blue, red and yellow these are the strong colors of Versus spring 2013 collection. The main theme? Chains printed on dresses and used as decorative element. They are sewed around collars, on bags and shoes , they are necklaces, belts and then cover entire pieces of clothing like tops and skirts. Plastic chains are colored and light weighted; they can be a wonderful element to create a spring accessory.

Maybe the neon yellow Cambridge satchel bag was the most photographed bag last summer. Those who thought that beautiful color was too wild to not go out of fashion were wrong. Neon colors are here to stay and I'm definitely not tired of them. Have been dreaming for a couple of weeks to push the buy button and grab that fantastic neon suit from Asos or a pair of  neon heels while thinking at my DIY options. Maybe dip-dying for the suit and spray paint for heels? In the meantime I collected for you some items for your well deserved, relaxing weekend shopping adventures. Is there any other way to relax? DIY Neon clutch inspired by Christopher Kane

 mix the color with water and dip the lace into it: this is going to be messy so use a pair of gloves

squeeze the excess out and put the fabric to dry over a newspaper

mischiate l'acqua al colore e immergeteci il pizzo; strizzate poi il pizzo rimuovendo l'eccesso di colore

vi consiglio di indossare i guanti

 here's the dried lace,it mantains its flexibility (if you want you can spray it with a sealer)

dilute the acrylic color only a little to obtain a really saturated color

ecco il pizzo asciutto se volete potete fissare il colore con uno stray plastificante

per ottenere un colore vivace diluite il colore con poca acqua

sew the orange lace over a black piece of fabric

fold the fabric in half leaving the lace on the inside and sew along the edges obtaining the bag shape

add a zipper at the top 

attach a piece of rope to the zipper puller and you've done!

piegate la stoffa a metà lasciando il pizzo all'interno e fate due cuciture ai lati ottenendo la borsetta

aggiungete una zip sul lato aperto

potete legare una corda al cursore della zip per indossare la borsa al polso e la borsa è completata!

To own a similar clutch i've painted a piece of white lace in orange and crafted a simple clutch!

 To make one you'll need only a small piece of white lace and black fabric, remainder pieces will be fine!

My clutch is 27cmx17cm.

Le borsette colorate pensate da Christopher Kane sono perfette per l'estate! Sono in pelle tagliata al laser creando l'illusione del pizzo. Per farne una simile basterà tingere del pizzo bianco con del colore acrilico e poi sovrapporlo ad una stoffa nera.

 La borsetta che ho realizzato è 27cmx17cm.

The biker jacket is my favorite piece of cloth! It doesn't matter how many i buy i always fall in love with the lasted interpretations of the classic design.
Here's a couple of fantastic jackets that really hit my heart and my imagination!
Both designed by Christopher Kane,the first in galaxy print and chiffon volants,the second one in a net fabric in a bright neon orange. The lack of funcionality of the orange jacket (it can't keep you warm and won't keep you dry if it rains either) really entertains me: it's made for the sake of fashion and style only. And speaking of bikers you've probably already seen new Gaga's video "Judas" where apostoles are a gang of riders,seriously only Gaga could come up with this idea!







Sportive,da rocker o da motociclista le giacche in pelle sono tra i miei capi preferiti. Versatile come pochi fa la sua bella figura sul jeans ma anche su un vestito elegante. Non importa quante ne compri sono sembre colpita dalle nuove interpretazioni dei modelli classici.
Ecco qui un ottimo esempio di giacche che mi rubano il cuore,le proposte primaverili di Christopher Kane per la primavera.
La prima con la stampa galattica è arricchita di volant di chiffon,la seconda in rete e in un colore arancione shocking! La totale mancanza di funzionalità della giacca arancione mi diverte:non serve a scaldare nè a riparare dalla pioggia,il suo scopo scopo è assai più alto: è disegnata per essere alla moda. Parlando di motociclisti avrete sicuramente visto il nuovo video di Lady Gaga, "judas" dove gli apostoli sono una gang di motociclisti, solo lei avrebbe potuto farsi venire un'idea del genere.

Colours are super saturated, my favorite dresses are the ones with the neon accents over the printed dresses, unexpected!

Colori super saturi,i pezzi migliori a mio avviso sono quelli con gli accenti neon sui vestiti stampati, una dispettosa inattesa colata di colore!
