Here's how the shoes looked before the treatment
Le scarpe che ho usato come base prima del trattamento

I've taken off almost all the embellishes and i've sewn a tiny chain on the front of the shoes
Ho denudato le scarpe delle perline e delle decorazioni e ho cucito una catenella sul davanti

I've sewn three chains at the back to decorate the heel
ho cucito tre catenelle che dondolano sul tacco

I've turned these tapestry nails into beads and i've glued them onto the ankle strap
ho trasformato questi chiodi da tappezzeria in perline e li ho incollati sulle scarpe

I've glued the lion heads wih shoe glue
ho incollato la testa del leone sulle scarpe con una colla forte


Tapestry nails, chains and drawer pullers are the ingredients taken at the hardware store for these animalier shoes. The inspiration are the eighties:the colors chosen (black an gold), the lion head and the excessive embellishes. What do you think of the result?


Chiodini da tappezzeria, catene e i pomelli per i cassetti sono gli ingredienti, tutti presi in ferramenta per queste scarpe sul tema animalier. L'ispirazione sono gli anni 80 nei colori scelti, nero e dorato e nelle decorazioni appariscenti. Che ne pensate del risultato?

Firenze is magical

The party started with A Midsummer Night's Dream ballet show among the guests
then continued in a beautiful garden
and ended with the museum turned into a dance floor

guests had fun with the animalier dress code of the night wearing masks, tails and daring make up but this was in my opinion the most interesting accessory: a wooden painted deer mask with horns decorated as tree branches!

This year i was invited at the closing dinner party of the event Firenze4ever organized by the shop of luxury brands LuisaViaRoma. The happening gets together bloggers from all over the world and it's been a real pleasure to meet them in person. The party itself was unique and took place in the science museum "La Specola". The dress code was "animalier" so i took the chance to craft my whole outfit:shoes, bag and dress (and i'll show "the making of" in the next days).

Quest'anno ho avuto il piacere di essere invitata al party di chiusura dell'evento Firenze4ever organizzato dal famoso negozio online LuisaViaRoma. L'evento riunisce blogger di tutto il mondo ed è stato un vero piacere poterli incontrare di persona. Un party speciale,pieno di sorprese organizzato all'interno del museo della scienza "La specola" di Firenze. Mi sono divertita a giocare con il dress code della serata "animalier" e ho realizzato l'intero outfit in tema:scarpe,borsa e vestito (vi mostrerò il making of nei prossimi giorni).
