a nutcase that fits my finger found in the garage
go to your hardware store and try some nutcases as a ring until you find the one that fits
(and yes people will look at you with a funny face thinking you're crazy)

potete trovarne uno simile in ferramenta,provatene qualcuno fino a trovarne uno che vi va come anello (non fate caso a chi vi guarda con una faccia strana per quello che state facendo)

i've added some mirrors over the surface
then i've covered half of the thick border with big glitters,this way i'm able to wear the ring in two ways:with the "naked" surface or showing glitters

ho aggiunto degli specchietti sulla superficie e poi decorato con dei glitter metà della superficie laterale in modo da poter scegliere se indossarlo mostrando la superficie "nuda" o quella con i glitter


Since i really liked Maison Martin Margiela hardware jewelry i decided to make my own version of it. This is the first ring and maybe more will come.
I liked the rough appereace of those naked hydraulic supply used as rings but looking at the nutcase i found in my garage i thought i wanted to add some glamour to it.
I wanted to mix the "masculine" character of the object (a rought tool with no appeal to the eye) with a more feminine features (the bling,the glitters,i used mirrors because we have to confess we're fatally attracted to mirrors).
What do you think of the result?



Ecco un anello che si ispira ai gioielli "idraulici" della Maison Martin Margiela.
Le loro creazioni si basano sull'aspetto ruvido e scarno dei segmenti idraulici utilizzati come anelli ma guardando il bullone che avrei utilizzato come anello ho pensato di aggiungergli un tocco di glamour. L'idea è stata quella di mixare il carattere "maschile" dell'oggetto (funzionale ma non bello da guardare) con delle caratteristiche più femminili (i glitter e gli specchi;dai confessiamo di essere fatalmente attratte dagli specchi!).
Che ne pensate del risultato?
