What detail of a shoe draws your attention? Maybe a tall hell or an original design.
What do you say of these shoes that walked the runway for spring 2013??  I'm a little bit confused.
Did designers make these shoes intentionally ugly? Will they really get  into production and who is going to wear them?
In order to create something new, designers have to explore new paths and maybe go beyond good taste?
Sometimes shoes look weird at  first but then they find a way into people's heart, will it happen with these shoes?

Quale dettaglio vi conquista in una scarpa? Forse il tacco alto o un design originale. Che ne dite di queste scarpe che hanno calcato le passerelle della stagione estiva? 

Socondo me sono colpevoli, colpevoli di bruttezza intenzionale. Chissà, forse per offrire ai nostri occhi qualcosa di nuovo i designer devono esplorare nuove strade e forse spingersi oltre il limite del buon gusto.

Alcuni design ci mettono un po' ad affermarsi ma poi conquistano il cuore dei consumatori. Ce la faranno anche queste scarpe? E voi che ne pensate? Indossereste queste scarpe?

 "Our shoes make people smile" says Yagmur Caner Alzayat,turkish shoe designer and I agree with her. The shoes she makes are funny and creative. This shade of blue is just perfect! I too want to add a pair of mustache on my shoes, I'll cut a piece of felt or suede and I'll glue it on them! 


"Quando guardano le nostre scarpe le persone sorridono" dice Yagmur Caner Alzayat, designer di scarpe turca e mi trovo d'accordo con lei, le sue scarpe sono divertenti e creative (e questa tonalità di blu è perfetta). Mi ha fatto venir voglia di aggiungere un paio di baffi anche sulle mie scarpe, ritaglierò la forma in feltro o in camoscio e la incollerò sulla punta di un paio di decoltè.

In love with Casadei pointy shoes

With these lipstick red Casadei pointy toes it's love at first sight! I love the v shaped edge, it's such a unique take on the classic pump. Lea Michele already had the chance to wear these fantastic heels (although not of her size) and we'll find them in shops at a price around $700. For those who like the style but not the price maybe it is possible to cut out this design from a pair of classic pointy toe like I did with for the Morgana shoes by Stella McCarteney!


Con queste scarpe rosso lacca di Casadei è stato amore a prima vista. Che bello lo scollo a v, originale rilettura della classica decoltè. Lea Michele ha già avuto occasione di indossarle (anche se non della sua taglia!),noi le troveremo in vendita ad un prezzo intorno ai 500 euro. Per coloro che ne apprezzano lo stile ma non il prezzo potranno forse provare a ritagliare lo scollo a v da un paio di classiche scarpe a punta, come ho fatto io con le scarpe Morgana di Stella McCarteney.

I couldn't wait to show you this site i've just discovered. Upper Street London let you design your own shoes. You can choose the shoe style,materials and colors and your pair will knock at your door in six weeks; shoes will cost at least €260 but hey, they are designer shoes and guess what? You are the designer!
Shoe styles aren't infinite but shoes will look very different if you change their color or shape ,so if you want to play with styles and colors start visiting their site.

These shoes are the proof that everything looks better, more interesting if studded. I can't wait to grab a pair of shoes and stud them. Even if we can have access to the back of the leather the shoes are made of we can fill the inside of the stud with sylicon and glue them on the shoes!

Queste scarpe sono la prova che qualunque capo acquista più carattere se è ricoperto di borchie! Non vedo l'ora di prendere un paio di scarpe e ricoprirle di borchie. Anche se non possiamo accedere al retro della pelle di cui sono fatte le scarpe per inserirle basterà riempire le borchie di silicone e incollarle sulle scarpe.

Those who have been visiting this blog for a while may have noticed my interest (to avoid saying obsession) for cage shoes and dresses inspired by architectural structures,all things that look geometrical and 3d and make me think at origami.
These shoes do enter in this category. These shoes look like a pair of pumps trapped in a cage or put in a scuptural box. This original design is signed Andreia Chaves who soon will produce her first collection in a limited edition.




Chi visita questo blog da un po' avrà notato la mia passione (per non dire ossessione) per tutti quegli accessori ed esperimenti di moda ispirati all'architettura o alla geometria 3d o ancora quelli ispirati agli origami.
Le scarpe che vedete qui rientrano decisamente nelle categorie sopra descritte.Sono veramente notevoli non trovate? Sembrano delle scarpe classiche intrappolate in una gabbia oppure riposte in una scatola scultura. Questo design così originale è firmato Andreia Chaves la quale produrrà a breve la sua prima collezione in edizione limitata.
