DIY lab: what i'm working on

I haven't posted diy projects in these days 'cause I've been working hard on a project. I love studs, i've bought many shoes heavily detailed with studs and i wanted to recreate this effect with fabric. I wanted to sew something to go with these shoes (something edgy).
It was quite a challenge, i find myself in bigger projects i can actually realize, but i'm curious and i want to learn new things. I made some experiments with paper and then i remembered an easy origami i made as a child.

That was the effect i wanted to create, a square spiky stud! Now the project is almost over and i'll be posting it here soon, hope you'll like it!

Shopping for missoni fabrics at the local market

I stepped in the local market where a kind lady sells beautiful fabrics. Today she has very fantastic fabrics from missoni! They are selling fast! Omg i had to buy at least one! To tell the truth i'm a beginner in sewing but i'm willing to learn. Missoni is famous for the knitted fabrics, i've picked a classic type (even if i wanted to buy them all but are expensive), a weavy design with some gold thread inside that add sparkle to it. I think i'll make a dress out of it, i'm not sure how to make the shoulders, i'll think about it.

Elegant treat of the day: tailored cut dress

A nice tailored cut at asos. I like the clean feminine shape of this dress, a flirty skirt, defined waist. The dress is available even in black, it would be a nice addition to my wardrobe to stay away from eccessive details. Maybe we should pay more attention on this kind of look. Living most of the time in jeans or trousers fighting in this world for affirmation sometimes we forget to how be naturally feminine. Sometimes we're aggressive or our feminine idols and role models are this way and it's ok, we have sometimes to show our teeth but let's not leave behind our femininity.

Reminders When Traveling With Your Dog

Learning how to travel with your dog can make the experience less stressful and a lot of more enjoyable! Traveling with your pooch can be a major hassle if don’t make all the right choices. It should be planned ahead of time so you wouldn’t ruin your family weekend getaway or long vacation.

Always remember safety first. To ensure your dog’s safety while he’s in the car, purchase a dog car seat. With the use of this equipment, your furry friend will be safer and more comfortable if your car makes a sudden stop.

Train your dog

Before you travel, your dog should have basic training so he will be well-behaved during the trip. It is a good idea to make your first few trips in the car to somewhere fun for your dog before embarking on a long trip. Take your dog to a park so he associates a car ride with something fun.

Bring all the necessary dog supplies

When taking a long trip, don’t forget to pack all the necessary supplies for your dog. Among the essentials include water, dog food, treats, his collar and leash. You should also bring your dog’s favourite toys, and plastic bags for his poop. Also, he sure to bring any medications your dog needs.

Be prepared always

Emergencies can happen while you’re traveling with your dog, so you need to make some additional preparation. Planning your trip can make any form of emergency less stressful. Prepare a list of veterinary hospitals in the area where you’ll be staying, along with a detailed map.
